University of Victoria Student Residences

Scope of Work
Two multi-story residence buildings accommodating approximately 800 student dorm rooms. Designed to meet Passive House standards. Project included reconfiguration and demolition of several buildings, substation rooms, and site underground conduit routing. Main campus cafeteria was demolished and replaced with a new 600-seat cafeteria and two 225-seat lecture halls.
Outcome
Successfully coordinated complex phasing to maintain campus operations during construction. Achieved Passive House energy performance targets.
Victoria International Airport Hold Room Expansion

Scope of Work
Project Manager for addition to existing hold room adding 4 new gates, new communication room and electrical room. Work undertaken in an operational airport with temporary services and security measures throughout construction.

Successfully maintained airport operations throughout construction with carefully planned temporary services and security protocols.
Greater Victoria Housing Society - Passive House

Scope of Work
Design of 102-unit passive house building for low-income housing. Also designed 44-unit low-income residential building with all electrical systems.
Outcome
Energy-efficient affordable housing meeting Passive House standards. Reduced operating costs benefit residents long-term.
Some projects shown were completed by OC3 Engineering personnel while at previous firms prior to founding OC3 Engineering Ltd.
